Haan toh Ji first things first.I did not speak until now to clarify that I am innocent only because I was recording with T-Series.The good part of the ban controversy is that T-Series has finally agreed to give me break in the Bhajan Industry. I am singing my first solo in the name of Bajrang Bali, Yes Bajrang Bali! Image make-over chahiye bhai, nothing less than the Brahmchari god can help me prove my innocence now!
The thing about the ban controversy is that I never knew I am rapping for songs which will later be used to promote rapes! Like Badshah Praji never really told me this was the business plan! I don’t think Rapes can be promoted in the country? Can they be? A Journalism Mam told me, My songs are sexist. I think she means that my songs use sexophones but we can’t use tamboora ji na now. I am an international villager, my songs sell across the world so we have to play saxophone, gramophone what not all these western baaje to make yo yo sound cool! This is no ground for banning me ji!
I am a simple singer who can barely afford the ships and sun glasses and firangi models for an average album. I should not be banned.
My songs are really aimed at changing the society if heard correctly, I aim to change the society ji for example:
“Kudiye ni tere brown rang ne” : I was trying to curb racism in the country!
And in High Heels my line: “Mujhko na pehchane kyun tere ghar akhbar ni aata”: You know I was just trying to make these young kids read newspaper everyday- Should not we read newspaper every day?
And one more you know- ‘Angreji beat’ my line: Sanu das de ki ae rate- shoe teri da-dress-teri-da: Contrary to those dirty minded people who think I was asking rate of the girl- Nope! I was just going to suggest sister please don’t buy expensive branded wares- Hai toh Sarojani Nagar Inna sasta!
I am very sad that people do not understand the noble meanings which lie behind my songs!
