Weight Loss and Looking Older-How to Avoid

It takes a lot of efforts to lose weight but how to avoid looking older after weight loss.Weight loss and looking older  have a real connection!

This is a big problem for those who lose significant number of pounds but end up looking unhealthy and older as skin sags, glow is lost and hair become brittle due to loss of fat. This is especially true for those who undergo weight loss within a short period of time such as in the case of using instant weight loss pills. The tendency if you lost weight for a short period of time is that your body seems to be emaciated. Your skin looks sagging, especially on the face; your eye sockets are sunken, your skin is dry and your muscles become flabby.

This is due to the fact that losing weight in an instant using ‘miracle weight loss pills’ do not allow the body to cope up with the weight loss simply because what is lost is only water and the fat, but muscles and skin are not given enough time to adjust. This overall scenario makes those who have lost weight not good looking at all, despite the ultimate goal behind losing weight is of looking good.

Losing weight rapidly also increases the amount of skin that is sagging, leading to more wrinkles in the face and other parts of the body. Skin flabs also tend to be apparent in the abdomen area.

In order to look good after losing weight, here are the tips, which can help you, achieve a healthier, younger and slimmer body:

1.Focus on toning the muscles

Along with your weight loss diet or use of weight loss pills, it is important to add exercise in your weight loss regimen. Toning exercises ensures that your fats are converted to muscles and they are properly toned to avoid sagging in case you lose considerable weight. Focus on toning your legs, arms, abdomen, gluteal area and back. Toning may involve free weights or use of exercise machines.

2.Increase hydration

While you take your weight loss pills, the most common side effect is water loss through diuresis as well as loose bowel movements. Dehydration is the main cause why you appear unhealthy while you lose weight. Your face becomes dry and sagging and your eye sockets appear sunken. In order to avoid this, make sure that you increase your fluid intake from water, fresh fruit juice or low on fat milk shakes

3.Eat a balanced meal

After you have lost excess weight, it is important to continue a balanced diet in order to maintain adequate nutrition. Eating healthy does not mean that you regain the excess pounds that you have already lost. Eating a balanced meal makes you healthier and maintains the glow in your skin. Make sure you increase intake of fruits and vegetables, which are rich in vitamins and minerals that keeps you glowing.

4.Use new clothes

Since you already have lost those extra pounds, it is now time to buy new clothes that fit your now sexier body. Using your old, loose clothes will just make you look more emaciated and makes you look like you have been sick for a while. Instead of flaunting those loose clothes that amplify the fact that you have lost weight, choose proper fitting garments.

5.Do something about your face

Wrinkles are very common side effects of losing weight especially if you have been obese. The extra skin that previously contained fat cells tends to wrinkle and make your face older. In this line, make sure to get a laser treatment or other remedies to diminish the wrinkles in your face. It is also good to try those toning face creams and lotions to make your skin appear tighter. Infact there are some natural face packs, which can do the needful.

Regardless of what weight loss regimen you use, it is essential to aim for looking healthy in addition to losing weight. The ultimate goal of losing weight is to make you healthy inside and out so losing weight is not just about having a sexier body, but looking young and healthier as well.
